I don't think you know how this state works. The guy that Assistant Sheriff, the guy right under the LA County Sheriff, who was kicked out for his participation in deputy gangs (Rampart, Lynwood Vikings, the guys that put stamps on their car every time they shot a black guy) and covering up beatdowns in county from the feds? That guy ran for sheriff even after the feds intervened in 2011, and he stayed mayor of Gardena until he was convicted and went to prison in 2016. I just posted about this, you fucking fed.

You see some dude curb-stomp a Chinese grandma up in Stockton or San Francisco and you think anything works the same up there as it does down here. LA's as far from SF as Charlotte is from DC. Albuquerque and Denver. Memphis and Cincinnati. You're an idiot.

As it happens, I met with some guys from the DA's office yesterday, and it was same shit as always, they only give a damn about the conviction ratio, only now they're having trouble staffing, no one wants the job. You've never met a prosecutor, you've never sat through jury selection, you've never seen a criminal trial, you've watched what journalists said about them on TV.
