   Either that, or they started becoming big and were getting pressured by media managers/record labels/whatever to change the name as to "not be offensive".
   
   They should have changed it to Electric Eskimo, and said it was in homage of the classic 1979 movie of the same name: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418658/
   
   
   In unrelated news, I just found out that there exists a German band called "We Butter the Bread with Butter", and now I'm intrigued and need to look for their songs.
