I hate smug click-bate videos like these. "LOL Marvel went woke and now's it's broke!!1" Yeah great, it's really cool that we've even exported our entertainment now.

Seriously, we need people here to start making things here again. Do you have a story idea? Turn it into a book. Learn to draw, make games and movies. Network outside of the system. Never rely on the old guard. I get that's easier said than done, but it needs to happen anyway.

The kicker is that this spells the end of an independent Japanese media. Like, do they not think that Disney does not see this? Disney knows why it's happening too, and they don't care. The flaw, as they see it, is they don't have total control of the media ecosystem. If you had no choice, kids would be buying Marvel much like how the kids keep buying Call of Duty games even though they know it's trash...

They're going to gobble up the Japanese media pretty soon. As over-seas profits continue to increase, so will their budgets (and pay for their employees). Eventually, they won't be able to afford to make things without the EU, US, Chinese markets. Then when westerns localizers say "we don't like this" or "add a faggot", they'll have to. Welcome back to the status quo everyone.
