I saw Charade (1963) for my movie night because I wanted to enjoy the camera following around Audrey Hepbern for two hours. I'm still going through my backlog of older movies so I must admit I haven't watched all her movies but she's good in the ones I've seen her in - very charming and cute in what seems to be a genuine way. Unfortunately we don't get many characters like the ones she played today. The plot of the film (no major spoilers) concerned itself with stolen money, her dead husband, and a number of dangerous people out to retrieve the money from her, willing or not. Cary Grant was in the film, and despite the age difference between the two, I was very happy when things worked out between them in the romantic department, as things used to in old Hollywood movies when they still had that magic.
I think I understand a little better why Osaka Shizuku from Nijigasaki respects Audrey so much ( https://love-live.fandom.com/wiki/Audrey#English )
Final rating: There are also some neat suspense elements that can be Hitchcockesque, but this is not a taut thriller. If you like sweet older movies, this is a pretty solid choice.
