Hey bros, me and @Suzu are going to be playing Netrunner tomorrow at 1AM GMT (about 24 hours from now) on Jinteki.net . If you want to come spectate and learn how to play, we'd be happy to have you.
"CMD wut is this?"
Netrunner is an Asymmetric card game, where one player is the "corporation" and the other is the "runner." The corporation has evil money-grubbing agendas they want to pull off, and the runner is a hacker who wants to expose these agendas and thwart them. If the corporation pulls off enough agendas - or kills the runner- they win. If the runner steals enough agendas - or the corporation's R&D runs out - they win. The runner does this by hacking into the corporations servers, which are protected by big antivirus programs called "ICE."
Corporations range in flavor from "CNNMSNBCFox," "Big Pharma but Japanese," "Landlords," and "Terminator Robots." Hackers range in flavor from "Soy latte sipping student," "Drug addict," and "Scam artist." It's a wonderful game of kike vs. degenerate, and nobody is really the good guy.
While I play with Suzu I'll give brief overview of the rules - enough to give you the flavor if you're spectating. If you want to play after watching us play - or maybe even before then - you can read the rules in detail in the attached pdf. There's also a deckbuilder here, which helps you pick out cards that are restricted by set: http://www.cardgamedb.com/index.php/androidnetrunner/android-netrunner-deckbuilder
