@luithe well, he says he genuinely didn't know that "kitten" was a discord pedo meme, because at the time it was relatively obscure
which i believe, since i don't think he's internet addicted; he just makes really good and attention-grabbing minecraft videos
he's just incredibly stupid because he shouldn't have revealed his identity online to begin with, and all the internet safety rules and shit (but then again, i don't think that really stopped people from doxxing and swatting him)
i can imagine how someone like him who figured out the algorithm and became a sort of overnight sensation would be presumed to be terminally online, because generally those numbers grow over time, and thus the unconscious assumption that he MUST know stuff like those kinds of memes would kinda fuck him over
i am presuming innocent and giving the benefit of the doubt, and stupidity, ignorance, and the blind malice of the internet are very valid reasons, as shameful as they may feel, appear, and be
and well, a lot of behaviors these days that used to be normal are now "creepy" and "red flags," and generally involve the cameraman or woman taking a picture or video, or making a long winded blog post on tumblr about how creepy the person(s) they're watching intently are like journalists with no morals looking to create a big scoop, not find one
or maybe i give people too much leniency and i'm wrong about all of this, but currently no oddities or contradictions i've noticed, that haven't been explained properly or handwaved that hard
