   It's honestly kind of shocking if you think about it how the majority of the people on the internet in the early 2000s were super optimistic and hopeful for a brighter and better future but comparative to nowadays I have people in their early twenties who have completely given up on having a happy life and genuinely believe that the world is descending into a complete and utter hellscape and that they might as well just give up.

   It's like these people are bitter old men in their 70s.

   The hopeful optimism of the early 2000s has essentially been completely and utterly crushed and and replaced with despair it's depressing honestly.
