This week I am rebuilding my main computer rig from scratch and while I thought it was complete I realized 350w was not enough to drive an rx580. In lieau of this there is a high chance I am going to have to swap out the psu for a more powerful one. If that is the case its likely there is going to be no show this week. Sorry. -

It pains me to say this but it seems as if whatever format the Rio Riot is using is some proprietary one. As you can see in gparted it shows up as unallocated space. I'll upload the hdd image to archive.org if anyone wants to inspect it tonight but I have a feeling whatever format it is probably is closed source and if someone was able to uncover whats going on its source code is pretty damn hard to find. https://social.076.moe/url/2021423 -

So bad news. Seems the charging circut blew on the Riot. It could have blown since I got it and never noticed it, it could be the result of the 18670 having a lower voltage than average...im getting a store bought one of those just in case, or it could be that I was a fucking retard and throwing 6v at the device was just too much for it. I think the last hypothesis is most likely correct and if so now I need to source parts. Hopefully those who also own the unit (like 3 people) would be happy to show me their charging circut so I can compare and contrast and get a good idea what I need to buy.
