Idea for Writer improvements: line numbering should be possible by selecting text/elements and then activate line numbering for the SELECTED area.

At the moment its inverse. If u activate it, u have to opt out all the areas u don't want to number.

This improvement would be a huge benefit (way easier and quicker) for students, teachers and general users.

Or do I miss something?

Thanks for the request, i forgot to write it. I'm talking about the documents designs.

In Word/PowerPoint for example I can choose between several preconfigured document designs, combinations of font, colour, background colour and so on.

LibreOffice provides that, too. But the designs does not look good. I can design them on my own, but the average user does not want that.

In my opinion a professional looking standard artwork/design for writer and impress would make #libreoffice much more attractive, especially for "normal" users and in comparison to e.g. Microsoft products. I could convince much more new users, if...
