@arstechnica Good. Maybe cable companies should make offering good service at reasonable prices their primary retention strategy instead of tar out tactics.

@nyrath I see where you're coming from but for me there's a huge difference... Berkey always evokes a sense of delight and wonder in me, whereas that yacht brings out my inner U-boat commander.

Giving this a try due to the kerfuffle over at the Other Place.I used to write for the tabletop game industry back in the '90s; some of my fan antics in GW's Eye of Terror campaign got written into 40k canon. Served as a volunteer Forum Ninja for Bungie.net back in the mid-'00s. These days I do fairly uninteresting (but necessary) work at a contact centre.Interested in games still. Also interested in space and technology, Sadly recent events got me very interested in Canadian & US politics.
