i think it would be neat if Fedi software could integrate with more than just ActivityPub. why can't I just follow an RSS feed on here and see it in my main feed. obviously you wouldn't be able to interact with the RSS feed through things like likes or replies or maybe even boosts, but still being able to see that stuff would be neat.

like imagine being able to talk to different protocols and it was like a not evil version of the "green/blue speech bubble" thing. RSS feeds would be like a degraded version of a normal ActivityPub actor. But also I think it'd be really exciting if you could have some limited intractability with stuff that used indieweb tech like microformats and webmentions. I think im just a weirdo tho idk.
