@timwaterman @aral Those repeated ”we ” and ” us ” are doing a whole bunch of work in that presentation. And it also smudges the fact that the tipping point may well have been crossed the last two decades. Finally, the solutions mentioned are given in such generous terms that they are essentially meaningless. Nobody with power is taking the ipcc or the science in general seriously. A lot of green wash maybe, but this isn’t useful for the whole, just the ff guys.

Applying for grants is infuriating, but this is the system and I see no way forward that would streamline or make Horizon applications faster or better for any party. That being said, depending on the funding instrument, an international consortium is usually a must. Second; only the application is read - none of the links, references etc are. So when asked about other projects, it’s usually a good idea to type them out.
