@GI_Jack @dgold @aral , this is the point. At that time people had no reference to what it meant to support this national-"socialism" with the populist propaganda they used. Niemöller was aware of the policies of xenos and homophobia and the persecution of the Jews, which he criticized and for which he was arrested and placed in a concentration camp.
