No internet today, apparently. comcast decided to upgrade the network in my area without warning

silhouette america is having a sale right now. i visited the site to buy a tote bag for my machine, but i ended up adding sticker paper and metallic sketch pens to the order. lots of things to play with soon!

just bought seeds for the garden. husband put me in charge of everything this year! this year i'm focusing mostly on growing onions and hot peppers. we have a lot of seed diversity in the beds from past years, and I expect tomatoes to pop up like weeds. plenty of herbs from last year, too

the only thing husband requested was a vine plant. i've decided that i'm going to go for ornamental butterfly pea, since it's an expensive food dye.

checked out the discount weed store that opened down by the supermarket. 6/10 needs sound dampening badly, and better queue lines and procedure. Product and impulse buys are displayed well.

i have destroyed a pan by forgetting i was boiling water on the stovetop ☠️

did some work on my website today! i got more done on the gallery, it's all templating from here.

for funsies and nostalgia, i installed an oekaki board on my website today, too. everything's functional and ready to go but i think i want to keep it private for now. i still have some things to customize.

i'm back from the beach! we got lots of rocks and shells. the coal is becoming harder to find, though. it's slowly eroding into the sands. i got a lot of slate and shells to clean for future projects though

what IS interesting, is that the old submarine tower has been completely finished with concrete. no entrances or windows.

this is 100% related to the nazi mural that had been painted on an inner wall the last time we went here

sad that something must be defaced to be improved

i've been in the kitchen all day

we're doing burgers for dinner, but i'm also starting to make cookie dough for easter baskets

i'm glad i'm starting now, because i think i need to revise my sugar cookie recipe. i know a lot more now than when i first wrote the recipe down

The first of the volunteer seedlings are here. One tomato, two pepper. I’m not sure on the tomato, as it could be one of a few types, but the peppers should be jalapeno!

This is also the first year I’m using potting soil that has been fully composted from garden trimmings. It’s nice to not have to buy dirt this year

amalthea has fully accepted the avi-cakes. i don't even have to hold them for her any more, she finally learned how to break them apart herself

so yeah, guess i'm not sketching today lol i gotta go make a nice dinner for tonight
