@dudenas I dont have that article on hand, but from what I remember, Disco Elysium was an art project first and a game later, not expecting a huge commercial success.

I think it became such a big hit only thanks to this huge risk, proposing something fresh, wholly new, without corporate oversight and managerial meddling. It could easily have been too alien though.

Things are moving along. I’m feeling good about this proposal. Now we gotta convince everyone else. :)

Was asked to be a panelist on an in-person event, I asked if they have any #PHPledge in place to protect the health & safety of attendees. Got a generic "the ventilation is excellent and we are following official guidelines" reply, which basically means: no masks, we all have to deal with getting COVID 3-4x per year.

Saying no can be hard but #COVID left me unable to think/work for over a month & I think we all deserve more inclusive events.

@evacide I didn't even make it that far. I'm still stuck on wondering why the so called 'land of the free' that cares so much about free speech that they enable literal Nazis is talking about engaging in censorship of an entire social media platform.

Last weekend I just attended LibrePlanet! Lots of excellent talks, I like forward to sharing them with you. Glad I attended!

Felt a bit awkward giving my talk. With there being a delay due to technical issues on their end, & having spent most my time preparing to give a live demo which didn't happen. But I got good reception!

I should be back into normal routine tomorrow...
