Okay, so 子犬 [koinu] is a puppy, 子猫 [koneko] is a kitten. Does it mean that there is a 子鳥 [kotori] that would mean a hatchling? Something tells me it's not that simple

I need some help: recently my ejabberd started crashing, I realized it's because of mariadb, at some point it gets diconnected. Mariadb logs have several messages with this phrase "Got an error reading communication packets".
Have already increased max_allowed_packet - didn't help
