@aral a lot to type, a lot to read. But is there any actual magic around this or is it just a question of what convention you want to propose for it? Does it actually behave any differently from any other prop in other words

@aral I feel this. But also I’m a believer in doing the expedient thing the first three times I see a problem. If I try to perfect and generalize too soon, I usually make something less suited to the next occurrence than I expected.
