What happened to the most basic NA media skills of Adam and John??

I almost crashed into a lamppost from laughing out loud during episode 1601 when @Johncdvorak presents a whole bunch of Al Jazeera clips as legitimate reporting and says "...Al Jazeera seems to be trying to be objective" and then "...you can't get reasonable coverage from anybody but Al Jazeera". They then spend 15 minutes playing these clips, discussing everything said as if everything was legit.
