Two weeks ago the Oakland, California was hit by a “ransomware” attack that still active to this day. What was strange about the attack is that even though it is being called a “ransomware” attack no group is claiming credit for it and no group is asking for payment to undo the encrypted files as is typical in ransomware attacks and probably to even fit the definition of “ransom”

<1 week ago the national guard was called in to help resolve the situation

Then 5 days ago someone or someone’s attacked a substation that cut off electricity to 54,000 homes AND shutdown the Oakland International Airport
