    I guess this is a thing a lot of people think nowadays.
    I'm conflicted, because on the one hand culture is much bigger than me and I don't wish to simply condemn the growing number of friends, acquaintances, and creatives who promulgate this because we still live in the same world; and on the other, I'm Jewish (although neither zionist nor antizionist) and my terror at witnessing the resurgence of antisemitism is profound. I just....I'm really flummoxed. Maybe I'm actually terrified but the shock phase feels more like confusion. @alex

    Now that I have Covid Reactive Autoimmune Pathology (CRAP), specifically Crohn's disease developed after an extended bout with Covid this Spring, I am thinking about all the douchenozzles who told me that the vaccines making me extremely sick was "good." "It means you have a strong immune system!" they said. Well guess what, a "strong immune system" that gives you a 102° fever for 3 days and makes you sick for at least ten, just from the jab, is an immune system that might turn on your own flesh given enough viral stimulation. "If they make you very sick, it means they are doing their job." Thanks for the Crohn's disease, lady.

    @GalacticTurtle @ChasingWaterfalls So much female attraction to men despite obvious drawbacks is due to hormonal imperatives. In my case, these ceased in menopause as my ovaries shut down. I consider my life 15-50 heavily shaped by hormone poisoning. I wasn’t stupid, I was just driven by biology. I had no desire to have children though, was never susceptible to that just as you aren’t susceptible to attraction to men. I don’t know why I was spared the urge to breed but not the urge to mate. I’m free of both now, not through any increase in consciousness but through the retreat of endogenous estrogens. Hormones are psychoactive.

    I successfully raised 150% of my comic book goal on IndieGoGo. The campaign officially ended Tuesday. I just ordered books from the printer.
    IndieGoGo just canceled the campaign, refunded the donors, with no appeal. All the money, funders, orders, gone.
