@rainignterror1080p Yeah. Unfortunately, because I’m an outsider to GG, Bridget is the main thing I’m aware of because of how much noise it made. I’m not a traditional fighting game player (I’ve only played platform fighters), I’m a strategy/rts/FPS guy. So, I cannot fully judge the differences between Strive and former entries. Though, listening to The Electric Underground, he too identified a watering down of GG from a technical standpoint, and I guess the… capitulation from Daisuke just followed.

I think it’s rather interesting how there are these two attitudes by customers regarding media. The topic in question was Guilty Gear (Strive, with the new character announcements at EVO). Person A voiced skepticism: Dizzy was safehorny’d and the IP is directionless with seemingly random or shoehorned picks. Person B was more open to the additions, stating that the theme of GG:S was “change and acceptance of who you are,” so “we will see”.

I sided more with person A. Over the past years I really shifted my attitude regarding “respect for IPs.” Sometimes you respect the creator, sometimes the fans are the true owners of the IP. Not all change is good, but how do we know if the change is good? I’m sure you can think of some examples I don’t know about (Fire Emblem comes to mind).

Well, this is just an observation. I don’t play GG:S but I have heard it is inferior to other titles in terms of technical gameplay and story. My opinions on GG are uninformed at best.

Also because I’m a cheapskate I didn’t get Nurse Enya. I wish she was… better. I haven’t seen any need to play support characters when you can just DPS everything down >.>

@Kyonko802 The irony is that all the girls in this screeny are even more covered up than 2B, and I always use Nier:A as the prime counter example to anyone complaining about sexy girls in video games.

Anyone that says Nier:A would be better if 2B wasn’t distracting (from the story) is a liar.

@ChristiJunior Thing is, Torna was history, not like Future Connected where it was a thing after the main game. XC2 feels incomplete to me because I want to see what happens after the main game. Not that I didn’t like Torna or don’t want Torna, it was just going back in time to see what happened before Rex’s adventure.
