@WashedOutGundamPilot It’d be one thing if they were proper remakes of franchises which haven’t aged well, like isometric Fallout or GBA games, but all of those listed still hold up marvelously. I won’t bother playing these remakes simply because the original still exists and actually runs on my hardware.

And that’s without even mentioning the mods already available for original copies of games. An entirely new experience built off of the old ones, and completely free to boot.

@DW2 Not sure the country will survive even the boomers dying off, but it’s something I think has higher potential for good than bad. As America falls, the anti-White scheme become less enforceable.

@DW2 I wish Gen X at least was weaker on the civil rights programming, but judging by my own parents and their groupies it’s still a lost cause.

I for one am excited by the thought of millennials in power, they’ll unknowingly tailspin us into a more optimistic view of the future than their parents could.

This is what it used to be about.

See, this is what the GNU/Linux enthusiasts don’t quite grasp. Pop is doing well because they’re taking the overall playing grounds that is Linux and packaging it in an easy to digest package with their computer line up. It’s no longer “Linux,” it’s Pop. Grandma buying a computer online is looking for something pleasing to see and use. Systemwhatever company offer that, with the added bonus of being flexible to new editional features if the user so chooses.

Countries and companies have gotten too big to work morally. Shell companies shouldn’t even have been dreamt up, let alone been made and managed. If I have to dig through four different LLCs, *inc.’s, and foundations to find out where someone gets their money from, I think it’s safe to assume it’s all stolen/blood money.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @fluffy @Paultron Sounds like you’d hate Italy. Imagine that, but instead of fast food it’s slow food you have to cook yourself. Then imagine not starting the cooking process until all the guests arrive.

@DW2 I wouldn’t even consider myself all that optimistic either, I’m just able to see the process from a much less filtered angle than any info they can get their hands on. CNN or FOX, they’re going to be pointing to any cause other than reality.

Two years ago, my whole family would lambast me for saying the country is going to shit. Two years later and I’m the most optimistic member of my family, who all seem hollow.

I don’t really know how to describe the emotions I feel from this.

@DW2 I hate the healthcare system with a burning passion it’s unreal. What other institution can throw 15k medical bills at your face while ALSO being one of the highest causes of death via medical malpractice. Fuck this country at least in Europe they don’t tightly regulate prescriptions, so in theory it would be easier to game the system. In the States everyone loses (except pfizer)

@EssentialUtinsil @WashedOutGundamPilot @Giganova8 Good on you, I’m jealous. I became an uncle a few years back and have been pretty heartbroken to see him being raised by an iPad. I never expected such shit parenting from my own family I grew up with and there’s nothing I can do at the moment to intervene. He’s shown “autistic tendencies” and they’ve talked to the doctor about what to do, apparently unable or unwilling to simply take away the constant stimulus that’s wrecking his little brain.

I think this is an unfortunate side-effect of helicopter parents. It’s very easy for kids to take interest in capeshit/vidya or other dead-end hobbies and while I can’t speak for everyone, I know my parents did their best to try and shame me from enjoying those things as a way to help me become a productive person, and instead of listening to them I made the retarded decision to simply hide my interests from them altogether.

@WashedOutGundamPilot What’s your thoughts on the whole “change your driver’s license from M to F” strategy of company security? I’ve heard it more as a meme to fill diversity quotas but I’m starting to wonder if it’s actually a brilliant idea in disguise, alongside “coming out” in preparation to being fired as a form of filing discrimination suits despite being 100% white and 100% male.

@WashedOutGundamPilot A good way to catch yourself using negro speak is to change your internal monologue to Dr. Murdoch. Every “what up nigga” naturally turns into “How’s it going my nigger.”

Of course, when reading you should always change it to fit the text written. If you’re finding to many baboon voices in your head it’s a subconscious reminder that you’re probably reading drivel.

I understand this sentiment entirely, but could you imagine saying this about a dog or a cat when that person had been an avowed animal lover forever?

The difference is that dogs and cats are cute. You can be 3 years old or 90 years old and it won’t make a difference, they’re still cute.

Women on the other hand /can/ be cute but most times they’re disgusting to be around, and the juice isn’t worth the squeeze unless you’re really down bad and looking to get your meat wet. Dogs get a cute pass because of looks + behavior, women get a pass because of my hormones telling me they’re tolerable when they’re not.

That being said, I’m still young and I’ll be damned if I don’t try my hardest to find the one. Maybe in 15-20 years I’ll see it wasn’t worth it, but I can’t be certain of that yet.
