I've been experimenting with self-hosting everything, de-googling my life, and the balance of privacy/security vs. convenience. I wanted to travel the spectrum from an extreme "digital hermit" to something you might actually be able to convince a non-techy person to use.

I'm finding that you can get pretty far while protecting and respecting yourself, and I think there are some pretty easy (at least to me) changes that can be made without it being very disruptive.
