Lampochka is a great instance, but when using it from Japan, Europe is a bit far away, so you feel a bit of a delay.
It can't be helped, though.

The group behind the spam, Arashi Kyoeiken, also sent spam to Japanese political advocates, Animate (a major Japanese anime merchandise store) and Kyoto Animation. The day may soon come when the Japanese police will take action.

Until now, most of the outgoing messages have come from Japanese Misskey instances, but today they have started to expand into English and Chinese Mastodon instances (e.g. mstdn.social).
So far, Lampochka has not seen any spam, but it is not known when it will become a target.
In addition, the organisation that created the spam accounts has been abusing the email addresses of the administrators of each instance to send criminal threats to various companies, educational institutions and other organisations. Currently, image-like spam is rampant in Japan's Fediverse.Please be careful as it is starting to affect English instances little by little.
This spam creates multiple accounts and automatically sends comments.
