Finally said something for the last boost because westerners can be really myopic about the political economy impact of the anti-choice movement. It's not theoretical to what extent RvW can impact the 'global south' - i know orgs who now opted to struggle with other means because the US funding they were considering comes included with anti-abortion clauses. This is in view of the current islamofascism now making headway into the one major #PublicHealth successes of the 1990s in #Malaysia where addressing #AIDS has been normed into govt strategy to the point most people find surprising. Hell, to go back to #abortion, even locals think abortion is illegal, that's how far the Overton Window shifted.

Twitter being bought out by a fascist billionaire is also bad news for our activists in terms of material impact but consider this: that motherfucker isn't in the US state dept (yet, i guess).

Making an #introduction post feels strange because what i do and what i like sometimes intersect but not really too much. But I'll definitely have opinions about: #Malaysia, #Politics, #SoutheastAsia and I'll always be curious about: sociology, governance, culture and history. Sometimes i make cloth, though last night the cats ruined one of my spindles SOOOO... In the meantime I have too many WIPs even as I'm trying to be an evaluation professional.
