So both Iriun 4K Webcam and ivCam work on Android 5.0 Lolipop. So if you have an old phone running Lolipop or newer sitting in a drawer somewhere and it still works, you can turn it into a webcam for your PC. Sure the quality isn't the greatest, but its a budget option to get a usb webcam if you didn't have one already (or are like me who owns a cat who likes to chew through every dangling cable he can find).
When Fallout 4 had its big next Gen update, the DLC had to be removed and reinstalled. And because the DLC was purchased with my father's account which doesn't exist anymore, I've lost a ton of progress and items. Note I was playing on my own account.
And it turns out those cheap USB audio adapters I have overheat way too fast, causing major distortion after a minute of use. Looks like I'll either have to get the T30 running or look into building a more period accurate Win98 build.
And I might've spoken too soon. The same issue as before has occurred again. The sound drivers decided they wanted to unload themselves and I have no idea why. Luckily, I have some cheap USB audio devices that work perfectly with Win98 so I guess I'll just be limited to headphones or external speakers. Not an issue when I'll mostly be splitting the headphones out line to headphones and my capture card. No need for internal speakers at that point 😂
The T42 lives! Not to be mistaken with my T420 running XP, this T42 is running Windows 98SE. I finally tracked down the VXD version of the sound driver, so now it works perfectly. It'll be featured more on a future stream.
Bought a USB capture card in hopes I'll be able to finally return to live streaming. Also picked up a m.2 drive enclosure to use with my spare drive so that I can dual boot Windows 10 and Pop!_OS on my main laptop.
