@feditips I wouldn't be surprised, Safari often seems to be the unwanted step-child of independent developers. No push notifications is the issue that affects me the worst now. (Stepping away from the computer for now.)

@feditips That didn't fix any of the issues (if anything the stutter is worse.) Pretty sure it's related to the new full-aspect image display code for with the Advanced interface (that uses small images) there is zero stutter. Which would be great if I could customize it at all.

The Home timeline auto-refreshes, but not the Notifications.

@feditips Turning off autoplay GIFs reduced the stuttering by 80-90%; didn't affect anything else. Right now no push for notifications is a killer issue (though in fairness I need to restart the computer to see if that helps; maybe I'll do that now.)

Version 4.2 official web interface on Safari.

First I noticed the posts column flashing/jerking and redrawing when scrolling. Just awful.

Next I noticed I wasn't getting notifications, then realized I wasn't getting pushes for notifications at all—I have to reload the page to see favorites or mentions or the number flag.

I cannot edit the Advanced Interface columns at all: no "x" to close a column and the hamburger icon does nothing.
