other than writing 6502 assembly, the other part of this jam was trying to do the whole thing on a #raspberrypi. I almost succeeded, but had to boot my desktop up an hour from the end when my unsupported hacked famistudio build stopped working on the pi, and to record this little trailer video. Both are things I could have done on the pi if I'd prepared better in advance. So close! And so quiet too, didn't even spin up the fan except when I opened up a website with too much javascript
Android degooglers, which OS did you go with? I realise the choice is probably mostly down to device support, but I'm probably going to degoogle a pixel 6, which is quite widely supported.
I'm getting targeted ads despite having opted out of everything I'm able to, would like to eliminate my phone as a vector for corporate tracking and spying
Fascinating demo of a late 1970s vector monitor that functioned something like a modern e-ink display. It has two phosphor colours, green and red, anything drawn in green will persist on the very high resolution screen until it is cleared, where the red needs to be refreshed each frame https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M98VOoGFLL8
