@aral what would you suggest as a Google Analytics replacement for simple / small sites? Do you have any experience with Umami, Plausible or others, especially for self / free tier hosting for individual or small org sites? I definitely want to respect people’s privacy, but at the same time still want to have a sense of usage and what content is popular etc.

I am a retro computer and bbs/early internet fan who does information security work as a day job. I am a bit of a retro-generalist though I do tend toward systems that I had or used growing up and starting my career. #tandy Color Computer, #commodore, #apple, but especially early PC.
