@FrailLeaf@sam ok in mix.exs in /opt/pleroma or akkoma or whatever find the line where it says {:linkify, somegayshit} and replace it with {:linkify, git: "https://gitgud.io/mintplg/linkify.git", branch: "domain-mention-parsing-fix"},
similarly in the mix.lock file, replace the linkify line with: "linkify": {:git, "https://gitgud.io/mintplg/linkify.git", "91e313e6532aaf31c5771132b5b62c755a34a106", [branch: "domain-mention-parsing-fix"]},
the run mix deps.get etc. These are mint's - you could also use sam's branch.
@mint@FrailLeaf@sam@sam whitelisted returns.null and almost lost my mind because the docs recommended putting https://example.com yet nothing happened when I prefixed with https- thankfully worked with the bare returns.null . This isn't really a solution though at least it's a sanity check.
@mint@sam@sam@FrailLeaf Thanks tried these hoping media_proxy would fix the broken avi but nothing- get {:tls_alert, {:unknown_ca, 'TLS client: In state wait_cert_cr at ssl_handshake.erl:2111 generated CLIENT ALERT: Fatal - Unknown CA\n'}} in the logs when I @ to preview the avi :niggawhy:
@mint@sam@sam@FrailLeaf Explains why everyone except pleromer seemed happy with the certificate. You can enable multiple TLS versions including 1.3 which is what I've done - so hopefully won't break federation with most instances.
@sam@FrailLeaf fucked up I have to force it to use your dns server in particular for returns.null to resolve- wouldn't work with my closest opennic servers even though sites like grep.geek would resolve fine
@sam@FrailLeaf I added the cert on cyberia's vps and it curls fine via https but I still can't @sam@returns.null - assuming adding it to the ca-certificates thing is what you meant unless I'm being retarded and it's something pleroma-specific :confusedretard:
@FrailLeaf@xue@sam deaths like that happen in boxing but I didn't expect it to be possible with a slap lmao. These niggas are definitely ending up like mike tyson later in life. Actually this is probably worse than boxing since that's the level of force they have to repeatedly subject themselves to and likely also do in training.
@FrailLeaf you know how they put a cross by the side of the road where someone crashed their car and died? I assume they also get a proper burial in a cemetery too but who knows. I hate them though- like why would you memorialise someone's L instead of their life.
@FrailLeaf I've probably encountered one of these and didn't even connect the two. The ones in the city/suburbs are worst though because niggas put flowers and footy scarves and a bottle of the dead fella's favourite liquor by the cross which is on an island in the middle of a busy intersection.
