I'm aware of a bug in reblog posts where likes aren't reactive, working on a fix!

Reblogs on @pixelfed bring a whole new experience, the home feed seems much more active!

The official pixelfed mobile app will soon sync your in-app settings like dark mode, everytime you login!

We're working with @PixelDroid to support it and other 3rd party apps so your settings can sync across all clients!

I see people question @pixelfed over @Mastodon, and that's fine (I ❤️ Mastodon, sent from Mastodon)

However I think it's important to note that Pixelfed has Stories, Collections, Portfolios and much more!

I’d like to think the fediverse is more supportive of new projects and developers now

I admit I set a high bar of expectations when I set my sights on building a federated instagram, a platform with 10x more active users than Twitter

You do have to be a little crazy to think you can take on Instagram, and while it may seem like @pixelfed isn’t, just wait until the apps are released

Mastodon opened the door for @pixelfed to be the mainstream platform for everyone, just like twitter did 😉

Oh my gosh, the newest #pixelfedApp build has a bug in one of the most important features, composing a new post.

My biggest regret is dropping out of high school when I was 15.

I learned how to code in my early 20s to stay out of trouble and it worked.

I used to dream of working on a project like pixelfed.

Never give up on your dreams!
