The basic plot was had been seen in half of Tomino's output. What bugs me is the final boss taking up all the space, because clones of Bright and Char apparently don't sell many plastic robots. So they put in Shadow the Gunpla.

Witch of Mercury kinda went retarded. The finale is pretty meme worthy though. Especially thanks to the tumblrista butthurt it caused.
