@itsfoss recently installed 11 on a second drive (wanted to get back into heavily modded Skyrim) in my PC i built last year. Was not a pleasant experience. First few hours spent just figuring out why the installer could see the drive even though it shows up in bios and Linux. Once it finally installed, I forgot just how many drivers still have to be installed, and just all the little cleanup steps post install. And this is with a generic iso. Linux, steam and game install took less time combined

@nixCraft can confirm. I have two older thinkpads (an e and yoga series) that are running fedora. Manjaro before that. Even the fingerprint scanner just works. Fwupd even gets occasional firmware updates still. A night and day difference on overall usability, battery life etc.

@itsfoss overall great. The only issue I have personally, are 3rd party modding utilities. Like bg3 mod manager and stuff for cyberpunk. The games run great. Being able to mod them is not so great.

@arstechnica meh. I'll stick to wire guard. Pivpn already makes it incredibly easy to set that up too.

@arstechnica I don't really care about camera quality or features on my phone. Having the option to take pics is nice for sure, but I'm kinda tired of seeing 999mp camera marketing.

@arstechnica iirc, IF is cutting calories by limiting caloric intake by time. Which is obvious yes, but say you you eat the majority of your food when you're going to be active. Idk, I kinda did this a few years ago. Dropped like 70lbs.

@arstechnica I think there was an update that allows you to combine the lower runes and make the next tier up from them.

Still, as a former d2 player, zod was never worth much (at that time). I think a lot of the rune word items builds often want don't need it.

Still kinda nuts to vendor this though haha.

@nixCraft I actually liked how Google glass was looking. Still needed a few refinement iterations, but it was almost there.

@nixCraft define unrestricted. Dial up was inherently restricted XD

@nixCraft I'm doing it wrong. I've never compiled anything while in a hot tub...yet.
