It does have an edit button. For the first thirty minutes after a post is sent.
I like its simplicity. Granted I know how to use Mastodon but I think it’s nicer for those who aren’t great with technology. It’s a simple UI, it’s simplistic and is adding new features all the time.

I follow a number of accounts and only a handful of their posts appear and others don’t. 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t want to have more than one account, one is perfectly fine for me, so if that isn’t an option - what is?

You do what works for you.
