@feditips I don't think hundreds or thousands of pinned posts are appropriate use of pin function. Also, every new post will be unreachable in the profile.

@feditips Apparently, if you want to share your photos and paintings and content with the user you know, you can not.
Therefore, you must upload all of your 50 or 200 or 2000 photos from the start again and again every time the next 2 or 3 persons subscribe to you, again and again.
This makes fediverse accounts almost useless in lots of cases. You'd better use other platform to place your content and just share a link.

@feditips Global users search among all instances in mastodon and pixelfed by username or old twi username without login into twi and without going to each instance separately.

@feditips @flohw This is not intuitive at all. If I want to follow someone, I follow someone. If I want to add someone to one of my lists, I add someone to a list. No sense to follow someone I don't want to follow.
Still no sense to follow someone I don't want to follow, then add to list, then hide from timeline.
Of course I still can use browser bookmarks and tabs and look at various users posts. But that's what lists are for, in theory.
