Quickly retouched my old palmtop concept from 2004. I vaguely recall that back then there weren't really a full OS machine like this, just a few dictionary thingies, organizers and pure gaming devices. Could probably put shift and alt key as shoulder buttons for the index fingers, if thumb-typing.

I made a left handed version of the EPSON HC-45. The character layout is fairly standard, except modern JP keyboards generally use hiragana. Like the Beeb, this has a clear plastic thing over F keys.

I increased the screen size to 50x11 characters. Could be a modern nimble LCD screen with a nice filter. A receipt printer, speaker and battery could possibly fit underneath (the screen flips up). That or a regular cartridge slot. I don't know if these had a regular composite video out. Maybe.

Casio A100WEGG looks nice (70-80 euro). It's a reissue a late '70s watch. Ellen Ripley wore the similar F100 (black) in a dual combo.

The A120WEGG is nice too. Early '80s vibes. Bit pricey at 120+ euro tho.
