@the_moep It will be a specialized list of domains where you are allowed to be featured from. I think it's a bad idea to reuse profile links for this because the intent would be incidental and their number is limited.

@zundan I saw your posts the other day. The unfollow button was missing confirmation, this was unintentional and has since been fixed.

As for fediverse accounts underneath link previews, for now this feature requires manual review from our side so that we can avoid the risk of malicious sites framing users as their authors, but we intend to build out a self-serve system to manage which sites you can be featured from very soon.

This profile preview features the first two lines of the user's bio and the first two fields (commonly used for information like pronouns or verified links) which should hopefully make people more informed about who they talk to before they do so (similar idea as the reply prompts we launched a while back on Android).

We've actually released two features today that I'm really excited about. One is, as you may already know, displaying the author's fediverse account underneath link previews. But the other is showing a profile preview when you hover a user anywhere in the web app, with a quick follow shortcut.

@mardor @petersuber It's definitely something server operators can control, e.g. only allowing certain roles to create invites, or disabling them altogether. But I suppose the link itself can be difficult to find anyway. Check if there's "Invite people" in the footer between About and Privacy Policy.

@petersuber You can create invites on Mastodon and make the new person follow you automatically. It's not quite the same as a starter pack, but has the same idea behind it. We're of course thinking about the starter pack idea on a high level and how it might fit into our roadmap.

@ChrisWere Whenever I shoot outside, to give the sky a bit more contrast. I don't use it indoors.

Shooting black and white during golden hour almost makes it look like the lighting is artificial. Or maybe it's just me.
