I agree though, out of the box Firefox has become pretty bloated.

@itsfoss Its at a point where it just works, at least with steam.
The compatible catalog is comparable to consoles. Not everything is there, but more than enough to make it a viable platform for gaming.
One of the big problems that still holds it back is anticheat. This won't change until devs really support it.
In a way, valve has solved the chicken egg problem with proton, so I hope adoption will rise.
