Yeah, it's why I said blocking every instance that uses hetzner gives me the same vibe as the Oliphant "block anyone who uses soapbox" list, if not moreso. Since using hetzner is a practical choice, the only way a lot of people can afford to host an instance, and not just an aesthetic one.

Yeah I have my "cool people" list for trimming down my timeline, so that I still am connected with enough people, but don't have to wade through all of it.

Yeah I don't see how blocking an entire service provider is much different from Oliphant blocking every instance that uses soapbox.

@dicey I mean, I work a full-time job and pay plenty of taxes, so am not making max benefits. But having three young kids, the government still throws a decent amount of money at me each month.
