@nixCraft 1) Windows can be installed in a paravirtualized virtual machine inside linux. It won't be able to see your real disk.
2) Dual booting Windows with an NTFS+ext4 partition would be enough, but not necessarily in the case of a compromised kernel driver.
3) Encrypting the linux partition is possible. It's a matter of using a layered LUKS+ext4 partition (or LUKS+LVM+ext4)
4) A better choice is to have a separate LoL computer.
5) Don't do it, the tainted kernel is just beyond acceptable.
