    so, after a bit of hopping on and off the fedi clients, that's my research:

    - husky works fine, but it's interface isn't customisable in any way, and it can't edit posts, a basic thing in my opinion.

    - fedilab works god awfully, looks like shit, but nontheless has a mediocre customisability and no issues displaying media

    - moshidon is objectively good, but it has issues with media not loading sometimes, is based on r*ssian software, and it's pleroma/akkoma support is still quite questionable (doesn't mean it's unusable).

    there was also another little client, but it's so bad that i don't even want to talk about it. if you know other clients with support for akkoma/pleroma, tell me, i'd be glad to test them out. for now though i'm staying on husky, because, well, i can live without editing my posts. just don't recommend any weird dogshit.

    husky runs constantly in the background if you don't disallow it. honestly, i love using bluesky's official client. feels smooth and polished. here on the other hand, no matter which fucking client i use i always see that it holds only on fucking hopes and prayers, ready to fall apart, or at least i see how dated shit is.

    the only promising thing is moshidon, but it has it's own shit load of problems, like media not loading 80% of the time. so, you either have good interface but poor experience, or poor interface but good experience.

    a little note to self and everybody.

    zig has a weird but clever thing. for example, if you do a function signature like this:

    ```zig
    fn func(param: Type) void {}
    ```

    the compiler will decide by itself whether this `param` thingy should be copied or passed by reference. this kind of notation specifies "pass immutably", so the compiler takes control over copying/referencing. to specify that you want exactly a reference, you must define the function signature like the following:

    ```zig
    fn func(param: *const Type) void {}
    ```

    this will be useful.
