I unironically feel bad for the poor hohols being sent to the slaughter, this is a command + intelligence failure of epic and apocalyptic proportions.
Nobody thought the offensive would be this big of a fail, everyone (including me) expected they would at least be able to take some front line settlements.
The first wave should have shock and awed its way at least to the first defensive belt, but they are struggling to take fighting pits on the LOC. Ukraine has lost at least a brigade and they're still several km from the first actual fortified defensive belt. And there are three defensive belts between them and Melitopol. This is levels of "over before it began" that literally shouldn't even be possible

First images of the carnage and its aftermath are starting to come out. Video is ostensibly of 4 IFVs being knocked out during night assault. In total it appears that UA sent in approximately 2 armored battalions or 4 BTGs, something like 100-120 vehicles, plus supporting elements. So yes basically a whole armored brigade.
The front line has not moved yet and Ukrainian losses are reportedly apocalyptic, but their attack continues into the morning.

"Counteroffensive" update: Ukraine lost the better part of a battalion's worth of men and equipment to move the football 500m and capture a town too small to have its name show up on Google Maps unless the scale is set below 5km
Lol. Lmao even

BTW the possibility that the Ukraine would blow this particular dam was the main reason for the Russian withdrawal from Kherson. If they had done this with a Russian corps on the other side of the Dnepr, it could have created a massive encirclement.

People were making fun of @officalNIGR for saying that "tanks can't move in the mud" was a mostly false meme but the ground has been dry for a month now and neither side has attempted to advance any large armored formations

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Hard shots of trench battle. Ukrainian soldiers are trying to take the trench with Russian fighters, crushing them with fire and bombing from a copter.
At some point, our fighters get injured and the enemy decides that this is a chance to capture the position. Coming up to full height for easy prey, two Ukrainian soldiers are hit by Russian machine gunners, who covered the trench all this time and did not give himself away, and the grenade prepared by our desperate fighter for himself is now going to finish off Ukrainian soldiers.

@sickburnbro I think this may be it for Bud Light as a brand. There are too many equivalent pisswater choices

it never ceases to amaze me how reddit tier morons who couldn't have told you the difference between a battalion and a brigade as of February 21 2022 (and maybe not even as of today) suddenly think they understand modern combined arms warfare because they slurp up whatever retarded propaganda Five Eyes serves them for the day
(these are of course by and large the same people who became epidemiologists around the summer of 2020)

While we're on the topic. I did a little digging into the website of Disney's failed Star Wars hotel and found this.
Why would they suggest a room for 4 with 1 king bed and 2 bunks as being for "3 Adults, 1 Child"?
How frequently do they get room reservations with that profile (as opposed to the much more normal 2 adults 2 kids)?
What exactly goes on in these rooms?
Why is Disney closing this hotel right after Florida passed a law specifying the death penalty for child molesters?
