DrYak (dryak@mstdn.science)'s status on Wednesday, 07-Aug-2024 06:38:54 JST DrYak @foone Turbo Vision interface had a mini puzzle game among the widgets one could open.
And correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the Easter Egg of one version of Excel a small wolf3d-like raycasting demo?(and I am sure that Emacs with all its extensibility had its fair share of games)

DrYak (dryak@mstdn.science)'s status on Saturday, 29-Jun-2024 07:36:21 JST DrYak @foone regarding Raspberry Pi working as keyboard and input device, there's USB4VC: a board that let you connect modern USB (and bluetooth) input devices (keyboard, mouse and gamepad) and then the Raspberry Pi emulates old protocols for vintage computers: e.g. PS/2, AT or XT keyboard, PS/2 or Serial mouse, and Gameport joystick.
(With optional remaping, i.e.: USB gamepad input events are mapped to key presses. Though that specific combination fails the 26 buttons criteria you mentionned)

DrYak (dryak@mstdn.science)'s status on Thursday, 30-May-2024 07:30:49 JST DrYak @foone wait, but aren't USB Floppies already general mass storage with a few extra features ("removable")?
Wouldn't the pass-through mostly need to read the unpartitioned disquette with FAT12 filesystem and expose it as a simulated GPT partition table with an exFAT filesystem?
(a bit like the "TV compatibility" mode that some USB ootical drives had)
