The moon is shrinking, which could cause a bit of a problem with the scheduled Artemis 3 landing in 2026. No, the moon is still a plenty big enough target. But the shrinking is causing moonquakes and lunar landslides. The James Webb Space Telescope never ceases to amaze. Recently released images of 19 distant galaxies captured by the $10 billion instrument reveals highly detailed, face-on views that have astronomers excited. "I feel like our team lives in a constant state of being overwhelmed — in a positive way — by the amount of detail in these images,” Thomas Williams, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, said in a statement.
