This article by Maria Puertas and @simon for @themarkup, about testing your websites for the Meta Pixel, is a great example of a "middle scale" theory of change. The middle scale is larger than the limited scope individual scale ("use PrivacyBadger") and smaller than the systemic scale ("advocate for privacy legislation"). We all have more agency and impact at the middle scale than we realize!
