The PROTON PT8010F is a clone of the more widespread Faraday FE2010A. Both are basically XTs on a chip. Just add a CPU and DRAM, ROM and a bit of glue logic and you have got an IBM PC.

I sent one of my dead Commodore 1541 floppy drive heads to someone with access to a high resolution CT scanner. They did a lot of HARD work and came back with super high resolution scans of the head and a possible place where the coil has been damaged. I am SUPER impressed.

Serious expansion for the C64: a IEEE488 interface! Only with the edge connector, but nevertheless! HPIB and GPIB devices and obviously all the early CBM disk drives!

@epilys @mntmn thought the same thing with Emacs. :) Which has the added benefit if org-mode. I personally would just ssh into the server and run Emacs in tmux all the time. Aren’t there web based terminal emulators? Why reinvent the wheel all the time…
