It is unbelievable how every single “red line” has been crossed; how Biden very evidently supports the complete eradication of Gaza; how genocide goes on and on and on, yet so many people don’t seem to really care.

(I think most oil in the world is actually produced by state-owned companies; the big corporations produce a relatively small percentage, but still)

No. As i made very clear in my post, I just shared someone else’s post. I can’t even get past the paywall myself. I know no more than the totality of what you see. I happen to believe it’s accurate, based on what I read about Chinese solar expansion (and oil industry not dominated by corporations, as I said). But maybe you are right: this is Bloomberg publishing Chinese propaganda.

Brixham, a Devon harbour town, has been struck by an illness caused by a microscopic parasite - cryptosporidium - in the water!

About 16,000 households and businesses in the Brixham area have been told by South West Water (SWW) not to use their tap water for drinking without boiling and cooling it first.

Israel has been telling Gaza residents to evacuate to the al-Mawasi “humanitarian zone”, a narrow strip of barren coastline at the southernmost end of the territory, since the war broke out in Gaza.

Despite its designation as a safe zone by the Israeli military, al-Mawasi has not been spared the violence.

On Tuesday Netanyahu vowed that Israel would proceed with an offensive on the southern city even if renewed efforts at internationally brokered talks with Hamas result in the release of hostages and a ceasefire.

Speaking in Jerusalem, the Israeli prime minister said:

“The idea that we will halt the war before achieving all of its goals is out of the question. We will enter Rafah and we will eliminate the Hamas battalions there – with or without a deal, in order to achieve total victory.”
