My best guess is bad actors scrambling for cover now that the lab leak theory has ever increasing credibility.
The blame game has started.

The blame game dates back to the garden of Eden and the beginnings of the book of Genesis.
I would suggest watching the space with increasing interest as people jockey for position.
When I was a young person I followed a very high profile murder trial.
The defendants’ defence was to blame each other.
It is usually a very poor strategy.
And that’s how things transpired back then.
