A good example of this is from the Middle ages in France. The elites picked up instruments because they believed peasants would play this instrument and they found it interesting and fun because no one in higher class society would use it. Long story short that's how the violin became popular.

I am fully convinced that the app is a covert operation by the Chinese government to dumb down the rest of the world so they can easily take over.

@ArdainianRight I have an extreme distaste for any type of authoritarianism but I do have to admit fascism at least creates a cohesive society of the people that are approved to be a part of it to where is communism basically makes everyone poor and destabilize the country for decades if not centuries afterwards and creates a low trust society to where you don't want to interact with your neighbors or other people.
