@Owl @PraxisOfEvil @PvtProperty They are mostly "people" who have only ever said and done what is socially acceptable according to media and (now) social media - very few original thoughts in their heads. I have seen many white males in this cohort obviously understand that the gun is pointed in their direction so they just go along with it and hope that they are spared. It's not unusual for them to be pretty decent parents save for the fact that they don't equip their sons with the knowledge they have because they still haven't come to grips with what it actually means
The most obvious form of pulling up the ladder that I've seen is for these guys to have only an undergrad degree, or sometimes not have even that, just hard work and the ability to learn, but when their HR person tells them that job descriptions "in the market" for their underlings all have "masters degree preferred," they say nothing. Or they are "excited" about the "opportunities" that come with leaning into Diversity, Inclusion and Equity when hiring. Eventually they allow the HR people to make it "masters degree required" and for white males to simply stop being considered for new hires. In other words, they themselves would no longer qualify for the route that they took to where they are in life, and they don't fight it -

I helped a friend run a table at gun shows for years (nodox) and the gAyTF was always running a stupid sting of one kind or another. The shows had to go along with them at some level so that they weren't shut down, partly because of the support of state / county / muni politicians or law enforcement, but also because the associations who ran the shows felt that some level of over and above cooperation would allow the shows to continue
Anyway, the most egregious was a guy who had a Chinese AK with a full auto receiver in the old MAK-90 configuration that was part of a batch of a few thousand that made it through the importers and were then discovered; the importer and distributors recalled as many of then as possible and literally went door to door based on sales records to seize them from buyers (early participants in the recall were reimbursed or given a compliant rifle in trade)
Anyway, this sketchy dealer had one of these things as the centerpiece on his table, a big sign BANNED FROM IMPORT!, marginally premium price, and no joke a big laminated arrow pointing at the third hole in the fire group area that indicated that it was a full auto receiver
I asked my friend and he said, "The guy was popped with some naughty stuff so he is doing a sting for ATF - I warn everybody who stops at our table." I mentioned it to one of the club promoters (I was a dues paying member, too) and he sort of shrugged, so any time we were close to the guy we told everyone that it was a retard magnet and to stay away. I saw dozens of people confront the guy and report him but of course nothing happened, and nobody ever fell for it. This is one of my tamer stories about the entrapment I saw at shows by ATF and other LE assets. We told gangbangers to fuck themselves all the time and one time a black cop from a nigger city told us to sell these guys guns so he could arrest them and we just laughed at him

This is a very important clarification - the core *policies* and overall trajectory they want carry on regardless of party, but policy is practically untethered from the *outcomes*
You can't crash out country with no survivors while still getting competent cannon fodder for your global ambitions or the materiel needed to fight those wars when you're looting the corpse. Their time is short and it's beautiful

@WashedOutGundamPilot The USAF became very practiced at shunting good pilots with off-duty discipline problems into that role in Vietnam or what they jokingly called "The Steve Canyon program," where they were technically discharged from the military and employed with the CIA fronts Air America and Continental Air, using civilian aircraft or military aircraft "decommissioned" and repainted with those companies' livery. There were even regular guys who heard about it and volunteered - apparently their handlers thought they were insane because of the attrition rate. They could force them to be uniformed FACs in Vietnam but the sheepdipping process was 100% voluntary, though they would recruit them -

@WashedOutGundamPilot Back in the day I knew a guy who had been a FAG who was invited to work as a FAC backseater because he spoke three languages and could coordinate the disparate forces. He was shot down on his first flight, was uninjured but had to carry the pilot nearly a mile to one of their local units. The second time the Piper Cub got shot up and made it back to a base with a dirt strip where they had a very rough near-crash landing. He wasn't hurt but the pilot was. They offered a third time and he said "no thank you" -

@WashedOutGundamPilot FAG stood for "Forward Air Guide" in SE Asia, the ground based local radio operator (usually a lieutenant or captain) who worked with FACs to fix air assets on ground targets in CAS for light infantry missions, trail watch or seek and destroy recon work
I mention this because their bread and butter in the early days was supporting the local T-28s and A-1s, which I believe replaced the P-51s the Guats used -

I am hear to tell you that kids are not *that* expensive. There are a million programs with free stuff for anyone who will take it and there are always ways to get baby stuff from people. Have a social network. Grow a social network - more easily done than you think because mommies love talking
Where it gets spendy is in *luxuries*. We have always fed the kids good quality food, and that goes up in price all the time for sure (big eye opener for me when milk skyrocketed in price during QE, totally radicalized me), but the main thing that become unaffordable are *luxuries*
(Yeah, there are conversations to be had about vehicle considerations constraining family size but that's like kid three territory)
